With such extreme desert temperatures above 100 degrees, I was apprehensive about shipping my baby Shih Tzu. I'd been watching him grow (digitally) since he was 4 hrs old. I had planned on having him flown in from the south, however, the airlines will not ship live cargo if the temps exceed 85 degrees! My desire was to raise my own puppy, not leave him with the breeder till he was 9 months old based on when our temps drop. So I resorted to searching the net for an alternative. Initially I was reluctant to have perfect stranges pick up my pure breed not knowing much about who they were. Left with little choice, I decided U-Ship had to be on the up and up, what with all the positive feedback I found about their services. Once the bids came in and I selected a provider, we were allowed to communicate. Mike and Tonda, owners of BullyHillBullies turned out to be REAl people. They were so willing to answer all my questions and concerns. They were very reassuring ... they had kind hearts and I could feel that about them. They love animals! The price I recieved was something I could afford and actually lower than what the airlines would have charged had it not been so HOT on this end. What impressed me most was the communication I recieved initially and during transport. I was kept abreast as to where they were at different times, weather conditions, eatting habits and socialization of my baby with the other animals. Funny my baby had turned out to be a chick magnet according to Mike! Guess when he walked him they were both loving life!I'd love to say that's the end of my relationship with Mike and Tonda, but honestly, they have become members of my extended family. And they know that whenever they're in my desert and in need of a stop over, I have a bed waiting for them and their precious cargo! U-Ship ROCKS!
