While my car's shipping was up for bidding, I had about 6-7 bids (2 different terms) The first term I had 2 competitive bids but both shippers could not pick up the vehicle in time, although the latest pick up date was indicated. Make sure you confirm dates before accepting a bid since some shippers do not consider these important.
On my second term, the dates were not an important factor. The first bid was 4 times the typical cost of shipping by train, and the following quotes were slowly declining but still high. Finally, one shipper made a good bid and I took it. I tried to confirm date but communication was bad and all I could understand was sometime in the next month. Luckily I was in no rush and finally got my car.
Depending on how busy shippers are, the cost and delivery time will vary. If you are in a rush, I would not recommend Uship because there are so many uncertainties. If you have a lot of patience and looking for a better price, then give this a try, there are no obligations until you accept.
