I had Abbygale for 7 years. She was a "rescue" from the neighbors who had left her leg unattended after an injury. We had to have her left front leg amputated. I looked for a long painful recovery but Abby jumped off the bed the second day after surgery and never looked back. She could dig up gophers, chase cats and dig out from under my friends fence where we were visiting. She loved babies of all kinds, kittens puppies and human babies. She slept at the foot of my bed and never made a sound until she knew I was awake and with all the medicine I've been taking lately that was as much as 12 hours. She didn't have to be house broken, she could communicate with me somehow, I would know when she had to do something and what it was. The only problem she had was her tail, she was always so happy that her tail wagged all the time and she was a 70 lb pitbull so her tail was like steel. (she keeps a room clear os clutter). When I learned I had to have back surgery I knew I had to do something with her because she was already over weight fron not being able to give her enough exercise. I started to check out the airlines and was petrified at how they treat animals. I read one report that 4 out of 9 dogs died from exposeier. I couldn't find any other way or anyone going that way and I never heard of uShip and was getting really worried because I didn't know what to do. I would have had to put off the surgery because theres no way I'll will put an animal down except in a grave situaition that called for a stop to untreatable suffering. Then I found this uship and Carol. At first I didn't understand how it worked and how she would take Abby to my grandaughters but once I started communicating with her I knew she was different. She went out of her way to pick her up, delivered her first because she wouldn't eat and answered everytime I called (24/7). It was wonderful knowing my Abbygale was treated like I would have treated. very reasonable prices!!!
