Yes, the weather is changing all over the country but not in the same way. The evening Black Hills Equine picked up our young mare in Ohio and it was 65 degrees. Warm with a soft wind blowing. It was a super clean and friendly trailer and she hopped right on. Then the fun began. As Phil drove west to the Colorado destination, the weather got worse and worse! Snow, sleet, rain, roads were closing and I'm sure even the mail didn't go through. Phil, the hauler, took extra good care of the little mare and even overnighted her to make certain she was traveling well, eating and drinking properly, and staying warm and comfortable. He was always in communication with both the shipper and the receiver, which helped our nerves, as we watched the temperatures drop and the driving conditions deteriorate. She arrived in Colorado this morning and hopped off the trailer healthy, happy, cool and collected. What could have been disaster, ended in smiles and congratulation! uShip should be very proud to represent such a thoughtful careful company at a very "thoughtful" and reasonable price! Would I use them again? Absolutely! Would I suggest it to others - Certainly! (But hold the bad weather!)
