A family friend of mine was giving away a Yorkie. However, she wanted to give her up as soon as possible. The problem was she lived all the way in Illinois and I in South Carolina. In order to send the puppy by flight, the current owner would have been subjected to inconveniences such as taking the animal to the vet and preparing her for flight.
