It all started off when my wife and I went to get a puppy from a local farm. However, upon arrival we discovered that each of us took a liking to a different puppy. As with all conflicts, we resolved this one by very wisely choosing TWO puppies, and promptly naming them Lewis and Clark. (awwww, how cute you say) Now, one might think "okay", two puppies is do-able. NO WAY!!! We live in a trendy downtown loft, and as Lewis and Clark became more familiar with their new home -all peace was lost! They would kindly turn midnight into speed-demon chase-fest with one another, and when that was over, they would begin the "I'm going to hump hump your face" contest. O M G! My wife and I would calmly accept this as normal puppy behavior, and peacefully place them in their area for the night. Now the thing about this is, Lewis would assume this was an opera house or something like that. He would yelp and croon deep into the night. (stopping only to wrestle Clark, and relieve himself) This atrocity would not last long. Upon four weeks of this type of behavior, we decided to give Lewis to my sister in Colorado. She had come to visit us, and had grown close to the puppy in the time she spent at our loft. What better way to make everyone happy. Now, how on earth are we going to get the puppy all the way to Colorado? Driving to Colorado (from Nebraska) is not that big of a deal, but with gas prices as they are -we decided to ship Lewis. Now, I thought this would be very simple. Let me tell you something -it was! Log on to the internet, search for pet delivery, BOOM! Uship! I created a profile for Lewis, and hoped for the best. . . . . First bid -almost $170. No way.. Let's see what happens from here, I said to myself. . . .a few bids later $50 bucks! N I C E ! !!!! -click, accept bid. We coordinated times/locations, and got to know a little bit about each other. Easy said, easy done! Our (well, now my sister's) little puppy made it safe and sound. Thanks UShip! THE END
