My family was forced to do a last minute move from Austin Tx to Orlando Fl at the end of May. 38 Hrs before time to leave, my Chevy 1500 (pickup truck) was stolen. This forced us to dramatically change the plans. we had to acramble to find foster care/adoption for ALL of our animals (our Pug,and 4 cats) 3 cats and our PUG were adopted out, but Pouncer (Baby-Girl) is the love of my wife's life (animal wise) and has been with her for 8 yrs. We left Pouncer with a "friend" who after about 2 months decided that she had to go. We were scrambling to find a way to get her to Fl, but flying was out of the question (the middle of the summer and no carier woudl fly her). We managed to find another foster mommy for Pouncer and I was able to take some time to figure out what to do. I listed Pouncer's situation earlier (end of July for August shipment), but circumstances here made the August shipment time impossible. Finally we got the situation straigtened out and arranged for a December shipment. I listed the shipment again and got a few really good bids. Candi had the best price and also the feedback she had as well as her background let me know that she would be the best for the job. Originally we were to have Pouncer picked up in th esecond week of December, but the coordination of Candi and th eperson who was fostering Pouncer was difficult. We finaly got things arranged for a Christmas week delivery. Candi kept in touch well with us and let us know where she was all the time. Candi has been a real life saver as far as Pouncer goes and we woudl use her again if we ever need to ship something - either live or not.
