Two years ago my son bought his girlfriend a miniture dachsund for Christmas. She lives in New Hampshire and we now live in Tennessee. She called us two weeks ago and said she had nowhere to keep Daisy and that she would have to give her to the pound if we couldn't take her. My son was heartbroken. He is very close to the dog. I called the airlines and found out because of the heat we couldn't ship her that way. I was at my wit's end when I googled "shipping animals" and came up with Uship.com. I have always been a big ebay shopper so I immediately felt comfortable with Uship. I placed an ad for the dog to be shipped and Mike from Veteran's shippers responded. At that time, she called us and told us a neighbor was gonna keep the dog until she got a new apartment. So I declined his bid. One week later, she calls back and I thought, here we go again. I requested a bid from Mike and he responded with a reasonable bid. We set everything up and on Thursday, Sept. 20, he picked Daisy up. That weekend my husband and I were spending the weekend in Nashville, which is 2 hours from our home. Mike called us and told us he would keep Daisy until we were headed home and we could pick her up on the way. That was awesome. We met him in his hometown, which was on the way to our home in Chattanooga. Daisy was well cared for and happy to see us. I will use Mike again if we ever have the need and will certainly refer any of our friends to him. Thanks Uship for such a invaluable service.
