This is the first time I've ever shipped a vehicle (GMC Yukon XL Denali). I purchased this rig (from a dealer in Ohio) for my wife, due to an expanding family. I solicited bids from brokers and ended up going with one. However, I kept getting the run-around and "oh, the shipper backed out at the last minute", etc. So, I cancelled the agreement and tried uShip. I ended up accepting johnm's bid; it was just over my target and a fair price. The Denali arrived this afternoon in great shape -- just as I expected. Joey (the driver) encountered some obstacles (a major portion of I-80 was closed due to an accident), but even with a detour, he pressed on and got here when he estimated he would. All in all, this was a great experience and I am so pleased that I will forget about the traditional 'corporate' shippers and stay private -- this is the way to go! Thanks again to John and Joey...they were great!
