I was shipping my old VW double cab which needs a total restoration from Vernon BC to Gravelbourg SK. It has no engine so had to be pulled or pushed onto the flat deck or trailer. I found uShip online and tried it. I was pleasantly surprised to see that there are many shipping companies out there that are willing to ship anything. It was a very easy process to use and to see how the rates varied was very interesting. I would recommend to others to wait for a few bids to come in and not jump at the first one. I saved about $400 between different bids, and about $1000 from renting a trailer and doing it myself. My service provider was Eastland Transport and Jim did a great job shipping on time and a great rate. I would definitely use uShip again and Jim more specifically if his rates were reasonable and I suspect they would be. Something unique in my shipment arrangement was I was not able to be present at the pick up or drop off, and Jim was very flexible with this arrangement. He was pleasant and prompt at both sites. I am sorry I missed meeting Jim in person.
