I was in need of sending my full-grown adult Great Dane from Alberta back to Ontario to live with my mom. After trying to figure out how I was going to make this happen, the only option I was able to come up with was driving her myself the entire way or driving half-way and having my mom meet me. Trying to get time off of work and scheduling when we could do this was proving to be difficult, not to mention, I had calculated roughly $1200+ for round trip expenses. Fortunately, one night I happened to be watching Shipping Wars and then decided to look into UShip. I posted my ad and within a couple of days, I had received a bid for $460. I made arrangements with Mike47611 and soon enough, my precious cargo was being picked up. I was a little nervous at first sending her with someone I didn't know but I was quickly put at ease when I received an update 3 hours into her trip to let me know everything was going great and she had even eaten some (she's a very picky eater!). Over the next few days, I received updates and even a photo showing her living the life getting to sleep on the bed at their hotel stop! She arrived within 4 days of being picked up and the transaction on my mom's end went just as smooth. I'm so thankful for Robert (the gentleman who she rode with) for taking her and taking such great care of her and treating her like she were his own pet. I would use these guys to ship any pet of mine any day and would even use them for anything else I needed to ship. I would not hesitate to recommend their services to anyone. I'm so glad I stumbled upon the UShip website. It saved me probably around $800, plus time I would have taken off work and mileage on my vehicle. Next time I have an item to ship, this will be the first place I come!
