If I could go back, I'd have contacted shippers on my own, but the good thing about UShip is the Feedback feature. I could read feedback and get user view points to rank service providers and get low-low bids.
I shipped my car from Florida to California. The shipper I chose said that there was a slight decline in transports going across country, but if I paid an extra $150, only then could they guarantee me that my car would be indeed picked up and delivered on the desired date. They also said that they weren't held accountable to anything on Uship.com's website. Nothing was guaranteed, ever, unless I paid another $150 on top of the price. Well I paid it, and then everything worked out wonderfully. I don't think UShip's service was worth the $69 I paid for their middle-man service.
If I had the chance and time, and I had to do it again, I'd save my money and Google Auto Transport companies myself.
