I was shipping my car back to school from Colorado all the way to New Hampshire. The website was actually really easy to use. It was so easy that I was actually a little wary as to how trustworthy the shippers were. I will say that I was contacted by a shipper who wanted me to wire him money and accept a bid and try to bypass the uship transactions or something to that effect, but I had read the rules of uship and decided that it would be better to complete the shipping transaction through uship. I was actually very pleased to receive a call from a uship representative asking me about my experience! It made me feel like the website was more personable and legitimate. I saved around $400 using the option where you list a price that you will automatically pay. I put a pretty low price not expecting anyone to take it and they did! My shipper was awesome and from Colorado which eased my conscience quite a bit.
I would use uship again, but to be honest I probably won't need to. Furthermore, I like the guy I worked with so much that I would probably try to ship something through him if he was available. If not, I would be glad to use this website.
