Our family moved up to Reno, NV in late April, we flew and were unable to bring my autistic son's therapy dog with us, a St Bernard named Raja. I had listed him on Uship but also another place at the same time, a volunteer service that connects pilots and pets needing transport.
Long story short the person who volunteered kept putting the trip off for one reason or another and the friend who was watching Raja for me was soon to go on vacation... so this person picked him up.
At this point I came back to Uship as my son was regressing without his dog.
I accepted a bid and when I went to make arrangments this other person decided they were not going to give Raja up!
Only through the patience and kindness of Rodeocowboy72 were we able to get Raja out of the hands of this person and home where he belonged!
Moral of the story - sometimes it pays to pay for a service! Uship is great!!
