When purchasing my first houseboat, I was concerned about the cost of shipping the boat to a local lake where it could be docked. I contacted a local company and received an outrageous quote. I then posted the shipment on Uship.com just to find out if I really afford the boat and the shipment. I was pleasantly surprised that I received multiple shipment quotes and all were very reasonable. In fact, the highest bid I received on uship was less than half of the quote that I was given by a local company. I was impressed to say the least.
It was easy to re-list my bid once I had purchased the boat and through email I was informed of all activity on my account. I accepted the bid that best met my needs and within a week I have a houseboat for me and my family to enjoy!
