I didnt want to tow the boat 1600 k's due to fuel costs and if anything happened its very remote to find help, I was told about USHIP and posted, it took awhile to get a bid, accepted the bid and exchanged all the necessary details.
At the last minute i had to move house early so i took the boat out to the crane yard ready to load and informed the provider of the pick up address change, not a problem, they called me the day prior to arriving, i let the crane crew know and it was loaded the next day.
I recieved a call from the driver to inform me of the boat cover comming away due to a tear near one of the rope tie down points, i authorised him to remove the cover to prevent further ripping and it arrived on time with the cover neatly folded and secured inside the boat.
