When I purchased this I was able to get a close friend to pick it up and store it for me. My problem then was to get it out of his hair as quickly as possible. Never having shipped anything of this size before I found issues. LTL's wanted it crated and packed in a certain way, doubling any shipping cost do to the weight of the crate. When I put it on uship I immediatly started getting bids, I received bids utilizing closed vans to the flatbed. In this instance I made the decision to use the flatbed. Most due to item shipped and the cost being considerably lower. I really didn't need it enclosed this time, but next time I may need it, Using Uship allowed me to have those options. Payment was also a consideration, cash would have been ok, but allowing me to use a CC gave me a sense of security as well. My use of Uship and the comapny that did ship was over all a very positive experience that I will not shy from using if needed again, and one I will highly recommend to others in the future.
