I used uShip.com because I haven't needed to ship anything in years. I didn't know anyone who had shipped cars. I wanted to find someone reliable, trustworthy and knowledgeable enough to transport my 1962 Corvette from Seattle to Phoenix safely. The uShip ratings and feedback information helped me choose someone who could do that.
Even though the Corvette was shipped in a closed trailer, when there were reports of dust storms in CA, they took the additional step of covering the car, inside the trailer with plastic. This is something only someone who knows and loves classic cars would be willing to do.
