G'Day and greetings from Australia,
I had 3 boxes of vintage car parts that I had won on ebay and had brought at swap meets while I was in the US last year. They were stored at a friends place in FL and I had to ship them to a warehouse in CA so that they could be in a container on it's way to Australia.Although not all that heavy it was going to cost the national debt to get them shipped via the main stream carriers.A friend told me about uShip and how it worked so I thought that I should give it a try.Being on the other side of the planet all these negative thoughts came. What if the boxes went missing?. What if I paid my money and the boxes went missing?.What could I do about it from over here?.
Well, I didn't have to worry at all esp with the system that you use with all it's checks and balances. The process went with out a hitch.Dave at Mach1 worked in with me as I was in no hurry and the transaction was done.As simple as that. I would recommend uShip to anyone wanting an alternative for shipping special items.
Regards,
Gary.
