As we all know, the internet can be a scary place to do business. I approached USHIP with caution -- never heard of it, skeptical of the Service Provider ratings, etc.
My experience, based on just one (1) use, is that everything worked as advertised -- USHIP's listing quickly matched me with two competitive bids and the shipper's ratings for the shipper I chose turned out to be accurate (great service!).
I purchased a tractor implement from a dealer in Wisconsin on Friday, the shipper loaded it on Saturday and it was delivered to me in New York on Sunday. Doesn't get any better than that.
I WILL use USHIP again.
