The uShip experience was great. It allowed me to sit back and watch businesses bid on my shipment, and the best part about it was the reassurance I got from other people who had used each particular business. It seems like there are a lot of sketchy companies out there, so that peace of mind was very important to me.
I don't know whether this was particular to the company I used, but I wish they had been more proactive about getting in touch with me, regarding scheduling and payment. I had to call them multiple times because the driver was delayed, and it was one added stress that I didn't want to have right before I was moving, with so much many other things to worry about. They didn't really give me any warning before showing up.
