Uship is a great service and excellent resource. I was trying to ship a very special pony from Chicago to the Boston area and found the immediate responses to be extremely reasonable. Each responder was well worth considering and yet I found one whose schedule allowed me to get the pony within a week! Not only was it easy to find someone, the price was right and the pony arrived in excellent condition and obviously well cared for by a true equine professional. I called one company listed in an equine transportation assoc. and they quoted me a price of $1500 with the pony going south to Kentucky before heading north. She would have had to be stabled and switch haulers. Through uShip, the pony came to me in two days, came direct after pick up and it cost me $6oo. What a difference! I used uShip in the fall of 08 when we bought our first pony and thought is was great so I used it again was just as pleased. I recommend it to anyone looking for horse transportation.
