I bought a bike from New Mexico and needed it delivered to Florida. I didn't know where to even start to get it shipped and then I heard of uship. Within 2 days I got bids from a handful of shippers that ranged from multiple truck businesses to a solo shipping with a van and a trailer. With those bids I could choose exactly when and how my bike would be handled and it was cheaper than going straight to a major delivery service.
The bid that I accepted ended up delivering my bike right at the beginning of his estimated delivery and he called me himself letting me know when he picked it up, when he though he'd deliver, and right before delivery.
