I had the pleasure of dealing with Chris and Christi from Leaverton Transport shipping a classic '57 Ford Fairlane from Arkansas to Illinois. I am a "newbie" when it comes to shipping vehicles, but Chris and Christi were true professionals throughout the entire process. That was in spite of having to deal with an uncooperative used car dealer at the origination point (ignored phone calls and arrived late and hungover on the agreed-upon pickup date), a worried recipient (me) at the other end, and a MAJOR winter ICE-storm in between. They kept in touch by email and phone when the storm forced repeated (and unavoidable) delays. They treated both me and my vehicle with the utmost respect. After dealing with that uncooperative used car dealer 600-plus miles away, and the unavoidable delays caused by the inch-plus ice and power outages between here and there, when they delivered the car I commented to Chris and Christi that dealing with them was the "best part of the whole thing." And it's true. Even though I'm excited about my new classic car, the only "smooth" part of this whole experience was my dealings with these fine people. Thanks to uShip for helping me find them.
