During the past 12 months I have used Uship services for several shipments including a 1930 Model AA Fire Truck, a 1935 Ford Fire Truck and three vintage Hondas. In doing so I have used several different shippers. There are several things that have impressed me about Uship. First, it is a great way to find someone who can handle your unique shipment. I don't know of any other way that you could get this type of service. Second, you control the process. By that I mean you can state the amount you are willing to pay and any other requirements. This can be important when shipping valueable items. For example, for motorcycles I always state up front that I am only interested in enclosed transportantion. This helps both the shipper and I know in advance so we don't have to go back and forth with questions. Third, both you and the prospective shipper can ask questions of each other so that you can agree on for example date of pickup, etc. Forth, you know the terms when you accept the bid. No hidden costs. Fifth and formost, you can review the feedback of the shipper before you make any decisions. This is important because it is hard to judge someone just by picking a name out of a phone directory or some other means to hire a shipper. Uship is a service that I rely on and will continue to use. I have recommended it to serveral people and they have been please with the service tht Uship provides. Latreia
