I had bought a practice carillon keyboard with the idea that I would just go to her house (a full days drive) and load its happy tail in my full size van.
WRONG.....my van has 5 foot doors and not tall enough to accomadate the keyboard. So I had 2 choices,rent a uhaul,or hire a moving company. I hate driving..gods I really HATE driving. I do enough of it thank you very much.
I hit the uship board that I found thru a search engine (google)and in had bids before we were able to make the space for the keyboard. This took 3 days. (our house is a mess!)
once we had the space it took less than 2 days for me to get the winning bid.
I saved a lot using the uShip service and had a great experiance with the mover. I wish I could mention his name here. They were efficent and fast with the move and offered to move a couch upstairs for no extra charge.
The keyboard is just gonna live behind the couch.
This house is still a mess but we have a sort of clean living room plus a real cool toy.
To bad uShip doesnt have a housecleaning and organizing service!!!!!
Maybe I will get a free t shirt out of this.
