Contractor bid the max I was willing to pay. I didn't want to pay too much for moving an old piano but I know pianos are trickier to move than most things. They were very friendly and kept up communication until we could make the arrangements. There was some difficulties with the move - also not a big surprise with a piano - they got it done and that was what was most important to me. Professional piano movers wanted two to three times as much to move it as I ended up paying so I was pleased it went as well as it did.
