I have never heard of uShip, nor have I even heard of ground carriers who could pickup and delivery items such as livestock as precious as very young puppies. I had a puppy that needed to get to me in Delaware from Ohio but I didn't want it to fly in a cargo crate by itself. I didn't know what would happen, if anything. Nonetheless, I wanted to drive myself but I am disabled and can't drive and Ohio is about a 8-10 hr drive one way. So, I was referred to uShip by one of the breeders, and next thing I know I get a bid from BlueMist (RedPath Traders) and we begin arrangements. Well, I am worrying sick about the whole ordeal because this is all new to me and obviously, I really didn't know Mr. Williams. I read his profile, his feedback,& I spoke very briefly to him, but all in all I still really didn't know him. But I put trust in him to pick up my puppy and to delivery her to me safely. I tried to get an idea from Mr. Williams as to an ETA, but he really didn't give me one. I guess I understand it is difficult to give an ETA due to traffic, unforeseen events, etc. but an estimate could help one ease the nerves. Mr. Williams and I text messaged every day, almost 100 text messages in 2-3 days, sometimes more, we also called each other. I felt that I was bothering him, but I never felt that way when he responded. I know there were delays with other pick ups or deliveries, but he never disclosed that as so not to put any other worries on my plate. He simply would tell me how my puppy was doing. She is resting, playing, eating, etc. He even sent me a picture via cell showing me how my puppy was doing. I felt so relieved and comfortable that I wasn't in a hurry to receive her as I was before. I knew she was in good hands and if Mr. Williams had things under control, there was no reason for me to fear that she was in any distress. Open communication definitely played a major role with this transaction. Thanks uShip for the opportunity & I highly recommend BlueMist!
