I work with a rescue and we usually have to move a dog to a foster home in another area. It's rare we luck out and have someone available close by. We try to do a rescue railroad transport whenever possible (volunteers fill in legs about an hour each,) but they can take a while to fill and sometimes don't. Many times the dog being moved is on death row, so the timeframe is very limited. uShip helped me find someone who already had a trip scheduled and had room to take our dog in a short time.
Having other reviews to read was very helpful. It's hard to know who to trust when shipping, especially when it's an animal.
