On April 28th I was contacted by a person I know that does horse rescue and asked if I would give a 2 yr old race bred filly a good home. I agreed and set out to find a way to get her here. I placed an ad on Uship to try to find a reasonable price on shipping her here. I received several bids and chose the one closest to my target price. It was easy to use the Uship site from placing my ad, to making contact with the shipper, to making a deposit to leaving feedback. My truck would have never made this trip, its old and in disrepair. I probably saved being stranded somewhere with a horse in my trailer. I was able to screen bids and chose the one that suited my budget best. I would guess I easily saved over $100 for this trip and it was all within Texas. The shipper I chose was RLH Shipping and they were wonderful. Turns out this filly had never ridden in a trailer and they did a great job, kept me posted and show true concern and dedication in bringing her to me safe and sound. I was able to accept a bid and have the horse at my property within days. This is the second time I have found shipping for a horse through Uship and I would definitely use Uship again!!
