Ours is a tale of sadness. My daughter and her fiance had adoped two kittens into their lives. Tragically, he was in a fatal motorcycle accident late last summer. She had to move out of their rented townhouse and back in with us bringing the two cats with her. We already had two older cats. My husband is highly allergic to cats but could tolerate the older ones since they stayed in their own snuggle areas. But with two young ones racing around the house, his allergies kicked up in major fashion. Daughter gave the male kitty to her fiance's family several months ago. We had tried with little success to find a new home locally for the cute little female. Finally our cousin 6 hours away said she would like the cat, but how to get her there. In looking around on the internet for air rates, etc., I stumbled onto uShip. Tried it out a month ago when we thought someone in Georgia would take the kitty. The response was fast; we really liked the feedback part and being able to exchange information with the bidders. Kitty safely arrived at her new home in Cleveland yesterday evening, and is busy adjusting today. Our service provider did a good job communicating with us. She provided a sizeable kennel which was clean and could hold a small litter box. The animal(s) got to be loose in the motel room overnight and not just cooped up.
