I recently purchased a 2006 pntiac GTO wrecked from China Grove NC and had great success with uship.com. I was bidding on the car through an insurance auction pool and was unsure if I was going to be the owner or not. But I knew if I did win the auction I would need it shipped 1200 miles to KS where I live. So I posted an add on Uship after searching for shipping services online. Sounded like a good idea and it was because the bids started coming in. I was not finding the one I wanted to go with until 2 days before the auction was going to end. That is when Sid from Five Star Transport contacted me and told me he was in there area and could pick it up for $1000 all said and done. Really the cost was high, but after seeing his rig I decided this guy was a down home person doing some hot shotting in a new Dodge duely diesel truck with a two car goose neck trailer. I was sold because I knew the car would be on that trailer from pickup to offload. So I contacted Sid back and told him my situation about not knowing if I will win the car or not, and he told me he could stay an extra day if I am considering his services. I told him I would like to use them and he would have to pick up the car on April the 3rd. The day before the 4th of July people not many companies or people would do that. I truly was blessed this man was willing to work before or even on the forth of July to get my car. So yea I won the car and agreed to Sid's bid of $1000 and on the 3rd of July in the a.m. he picked up my car and headed back home to St. Louis for the 4th. I told him to take all the time he needed because of the holiday. Really the big deal was I needed the car picked up quick and he could drop it off whenever. So he showed up in KS at 8 in the morning on that next Monday and we had the car offloaded. Him and his wife are very kind and caring people.
