I live in Maine, and wanted to give one of the puppies from our last litter to my son and his girlfriend who live in Seattle. For about the same price that I would have paid the airlines, my puppy went out to Seattle in the front seat of a pick-up truck, had company, water, walks and arrived fresh, happy and tail wagging. A much better way to get her out there than 8 hours in a travel kennel, in the cargo hold of an airplane, scared to death. The guy who took her was going to Seattle for other reasons anyhow, so it was a win-win for all.
