I found a dog on petfinder.com who was living in a kill shelter in GA. She was going to be put down if I didn't adopt her quickly. I discovered this on a Friday, requested bids Friday, and confirmed the transaction on Saturday. The bid was very reasonable and much more affordable than what I was quoted from a company called Lucky Dog. They wanted $725 for the 5 hour trip! The actual delivery occured on Monday. The pup arrived safely!
