I've had my horse since he was a baby. I saved his life and he has saved mine in many ways through the years. He means more to me than most can comprehend so when I got a job in Eastern NC, I knew there was no leaving him behind...even with a 13 hour gap to conquer. The idea of having a complete stranger haul my horse was terrifying and I researched TONS of potential haulers. Finally, something told me to just go w/Sally from Mustang Horse Transport. I couldn't be happier w/my decision. We had great communication prior to and during the transport. She was patient and accomodating to my horses poor loading abilities. When she handled my horse she was very sweet and patient with him. When he got off the trailer I was shocked at how good he looked. He had spent over 30 hours on the trailer and you wouldn't know by looking at him. Since he does not lead well, they couldn't take him off the trailer during the trip, but that was no problem b/c he had a large box stall that was very suitable for his size (17hh). Then on top of that, when going through the mountains they were caught behind a bad wreck. A semi crashed inside a tunnel and being in the mountains, there was no where to go but wait. When she finally got here, it was night, but she did give me the option of waiting for a morning delivery. I had no problem with getting him at night and I was in total awe as I watcher her hook the 50ft trailer into the barn driveway from a road w/deep ditches on either side and a drive w/posts on either side. I've never seen anyone back a trailer that well. Overall, this was a wonderful experience for me and if I ever have to move my horse again, Sally will be the first person I call!
