You don't provide enough room to include all the details to my bizare story but suffice to say, U-Ship is a site I will share with many. I made the poor decision to allow use of a 1 year old car to a then, down-and-out 19 year old college student 1600+ miles from my home. Many scratches, traffic infractions, and miles later, when the last straw had broken, I learned returning my battered and very smelly car was not part of the game plan.
I began accepting bids from carriers and the lowest bid I received was $1500.00. Thankfully, I stumbbled upon U-Ship and was overjoyed when I saw a bid come in for $565.00. It would have cost me that in gas alone to make the drive from SC to SD to pick up my car not to mention imposing on someone else to accompany me to get both vehicles back home.
After accepting an incredibly low bid from driver Donnie Alvery with U-Ship, I discovered making concrete plans to have him pick up my vehicle was going to take some resourceful and creative methods as my beneficiary wasn't going to be cooperative. I believe any other driver would have abandoned me at this point but Mr. Alvery called every week with pragmatic suggestions. After hiring a Private Investigator, (one of Mr. Alvery's better solutions), my car was secured and Mr. Alvery accomodated everyone's schedules. He even brought this poor, neglected car in for a windshield wiper repair before he could begin his trip. I receieved my car yesterday and after 2 solid days of cleaning (where if I had a gas mask, i would have worn one), all I could think about was that Mr. Alvery was an absolute Saint to even consider getting in that car, much less drive it from South Dakota to South Carolina! I'm wondering if his hands will ever feel clean again once he was finally able to pry them off whatever all was encrusted on the steering wheel?
U-Ship's success is built on their driver's integrity and Mr. Alvery demonstrated that to the fullest extent. Overall excellence
