My great grandmother willed her piano to me. Although not in the greatest of shapes (the only surviving material item from a house fire, 2 household moves, and almost a decade in storage), it had sentimental meaning. I could not bring myself to pay the $1200-2000 the commercial movers requested considering its poor condition but yet could not bring myself to part with it either. I found Uship and posted my shipment request. After several bids which did not work out either due to price, date conflicts, etc., "findaload" with Mark and Steve Hippert made a reasonable bid to ship my piano. I was able to review almost 100 shipments they had positive feedback on and decided these were the guys to make it happen. Within a day of accepting the bid, Mark had all the necessary information gathered and had already contacted the pickup for arrangements. Less than a week after accepting the bid my antique piano was delivered to my living room in (its own) perfect condition. The Hipperts were friendly and professional in all correspondance. They were at pick up during the given time frame and, despite bad weather and bad directions, made the drop off when they said they would. We had a very favorable experience and would recommend using Uship for you shipping needs.
