I purchased a compact JD tractor plus four attachments, all of which were odd-shaped and heavy. I was looking for a relatively inexpensive way to get the gear from southeastern Ontario to Thunder Bay. I had used uShip previously to move some furniture from T-Bay to Ottawa with good results, so looked at them again, along with a couple of other options.
I have a friend who regularly buys, sells and moves heavy equipment who was prepared to go pick up my load, but that meant a round trip of about 3200 kms, so he couldn't do it as cheaply as the uShip agent who was charging for one leg of a multi-shipment run.
Based on my two experiences with uShip, I've already recommended it to several other folks looking to move goods from Thunder Bay to family in the south.
