We had our Parrot ( Mickey ) that needed to be shipped from Winnipeg, Manitoba to Cornwall, Ontario to help keep our sister in-law company. She has lupus and cannot get out much and spends a lot of time at home so we thought that Mickey could help keep her company. We were very afraid to ship her as 1500 kms is a long way for a live bird to travel. We looked around and had some quotes that were so outrageous I can't bring myself to even print them. So we turned to UShip.ca and we could not have made a better decision. We saved well over $850+ on shipping with UShip.ca and it wasn't even the savings that impressed us the most, it was the service of John Vanderzwaag who's UShip ID is sunshine64 that made it all worth while. Not only was our Parrot well cared for but also arrived ahead of schedule and in perfect health and didn't even seem stressed at all. My brother and sister in-law both told me that John was extremely professional and courteous. He made sure to tell them how Mickey was during the ride who apparently had just started warming up to him on the last day of travel with many "Hello's!" lol. All in all I would use UShip again and will and have already recommended it to others and I especially recommend sunshine64 which is a family run operation run by John Vanderzwaag who in our opinion is one of the best in the business!
