I used uShip because I was having a difficult time finding a commercial carrier that would pick up my forklift in a timely manner. The price paid was about the same as quotes from the commercial carriers, but this was a much faster service.
There was an issue with some damage that happened to the forklift in transit. We were able to agree on a settlement for the repair costs. Otherwise the shipment went great. Very fast service and very good communication with the driver and the owner.
I would recommend that anyone else using uShip purchase the optional insurance. It would have made things easier with this shipment if I had done so.
I would use uShip again.
