I have been on the lookout, on eBay, for a reasonably priced JCB for some time and managed to find my ideal machine just west of Swansea. The only trouble i had was that I was in Glasgow and had no way of collecting it myself.
I had used uShip in the recent past to arrange transport for parts for my Landrover but wasn't sure if there would be a haulier to move something as large as the digger. A quick browse of the directory eased my worries after i realised that you can ship just about anything via this website and that my JCB is a tiddler compared to some of the loads that are available.
I placed a listing and the initial price quoted by one haulier was in the region of £1000 which soon came downs to about £800 as the time passed. This was a huge saving in comparison to the £1800 i was being quoted by some transport companies outside of uShip.
I arranged for a firm by the name of Starappeal to deliver the machine and it was collected by them and delivered to me as promised. I couldn't have been happier with their service and i would never have found them if it wasn't for uShip!
