I was looking for someone to drive my puppy from VA to Fl for me quickly because I had previously booked with another company but they did not come through as they had agreed upon. Jax, my puppy was ready to come live with us. I was nearing my deadline to pick him up. This was the last puppy left in the litter and I was getting very nervous the breeder was going to give him to someone else . Long story but she was not charging me for the puppy. After waiting 9 days and still no answer from the first company to tell me when the were going to be able to pick up Jax, I decided to cancel them and start looking for someone new. As fate would have it, Ted would be driving through the area that Jax was in the very next day and he was quick to bid on my shipment. After we agreed on a price Judy called me to go over the deatils. She let me know about the time Ted was going to be able to pick up Jax and his tentative schedule for the next several days. Ted picked up Jax on Saturday and brought him to me on Monday evening, one day sooner than they had expected. Jax arrived smelling pretty and a very happy little puppy. I used USHIP about 2 yrs ago for the first time to bring a puppy from P.A. to FL for me. I came across the site after doing lots of research on how unsafe it is to fly animals. I decided against the flying and after both of my wonderful experiences I will never fly an animal or let anyone I know fly one without telling them all about USHIP and recommending Ted and Judy. I believe the first company I used in 2008 is no longer transporting or I would recommend them also. I will say that this time when I was listing my shipment I got a little confused with the "name your price option". It appeared that I had to use this & it automaticly booked me with the first provider that matched my price.(The one I mentioned above that I canceled.) I do not recommend using that option to anyone. I much prefer picking between the bids myself.
