I've used U-Ship and other Freight Forwarder Service Providers in the past.
My experience with U-Ship is better than Freight Forwarders, which in my experience are difficult to communicate with after a shipments are booked.
This shipment required good coordination between the shipper and the pick-up location... which were difficult for me to communicate with personally. The shipper made it happen and it was all transparent to me.
U-Ship has been of value to my company and for personal shipping and has become my preferred means of shipping large items and equipment.
