I was not familiar with uShip before I put out my item for bid. But the premise made plenty of sense so I thought I would give it a try. I thought details would help so I also included a pic of the custom chopper I bought through an auction site. Transportation was one thing I had little control over, so picking the right company was very important. Within an hour of listing on uShip I had my first bid for transport and some questions. I really liked the fact that I could read feedback on each uShip partner and actually see what kind of product they were shipping. One of the bids stuck out as the feedback suggested they shipped a lot of custom bikes. The bid was NOT the cheapest but still cheaper then the large shipping company quotes I had gotten before trying uSHip. Dion (my pick) was actually in the area of the auction and was able to pick up the bike that very day. I hired Dion on Wednesday and my bike was delivered Friday morning. Dion called me when he picked up the bike and even checked it out to make sure there was no visible damage. He kept me up to date on his estimated delivery time and on delivery was within an hour of his original ETA given on Wednesday. Overall, I could not ask for more. A good price, timely delivery, great communication and well protected shipment!
