Originally I purchased a scooter on eBay. When I started looking around on USHIP, I noticed it was similar to eBay, and very easy to use. Once my phone stared chirping with bids from different outfits, I was hooked.
Even before the bid was let out to ship the scooter from Southern IL, I bought a jukebox from Chicago Gaming. It seemed to make sense to let the same outfit do both. It slowed down the scooter arrival, but the process was so enjoyable. When I finally selected an outfit to do the shipping, it was obvious that this was a good, reliable process.
The juke box shipping came in at about half the cost of the manufacturers recommended shipper. The scooter arrived in perfect condition, for about 60% of what I expected to pay. Everyone I dealt with was so nice.
There is no phone number for customer service at USHIP, but an executive soon sent me an email with his phone number and email if I had any problems.
This will definately be my preferred method of transport in the future.
