Difficult to find reasonably priced carrier for short haul, 165 miles, of 6000 lb trencher / backhoe. The main line haulers wanted $4 - $5 A LOADED MILE.

Loaded promptly, the driver was almost immediately faced with the rear drive of a T/T rig coming apart in front of him on the interstate...Near deadly accident was avoided....BUT 3 TIRES WERE BLOWN. UNDERSTOOD,delivery was later than expected....BUT WAS PROMPT, GIVEN THE CIRCUMSTANCES.Kevin looked at each turn in the rural road and lane and said...."I can get back there".
