This was our first time to have a LARGE shipment, which could not be handled via mail/special delivery carrier. After getting quotes from traditional shipping companies and later having the prices increased due to the size of our Trike, then reading about problems others had had with their shipments, I decided there had to be other options. While searching the internet I came across U-Ship. Within minutes of posting what we needed, quotes much lower than I could find started coming in. We placed the ad on a Sunday night, accepted a bid from one of the service providers on Monday around noon, and on Tuesday evening our Trike was delivered. Our service provider traveled from AK to MO to pick up the Trike, then transported it to our driveway in Akron, OH within 30 hours of acceptance.
The service provider we chose was very professional, experienced at what he was doing, and maintained contact throughout the entire transaction. We could not have been more pleased. The tracking capability was very nice. We knew through the entire trip where the shipper was.
