I'm blown away by the whole experience with the UShip site. I stumbled upon it with a web search for "boat delivery". I needed a little Boston Whaler picked up in south Florida (an eBay purchase) and delivered to western NC. It was easy to list a shipment (with no oblgigation) and I couldn't believe how quickly I got bids. And the bidding process drove the price down to less than all other alternatives (including DIY). The site functionality rivals eBay and Amazon...text alerts, easy to accept the bid and process the payments. I chose my shipper (HomePro) due to the excellent feedback hed' received. If I were Warren Buffett, I'd try to buy the company. Fantastic handling of an otherwise difficult-to-match marketplace of infrequent, small-volume shipping needs with flexible, low-cost shippers. Bravo.
