Found Uship on the Internet, reviewed information and listed. Received bids & or questions from potential shippers shortly thereafter. Some bids were almost double eventual shipper, so care should be taken to sort through. Final price was in line with original estimate for shipping. Uship acted as liaison throughout, until price etc agreed upon. As a private party, it would be difficult to find a shipper at a competitive price, with all the expertise, insurance etc. without their assistance.
In this case I purchased a 25 Pontoon Boat in Toronto for personal use on the Shuswap in BC. Wanted the boat here for the summer, took about 2 weeks, from time of first contact with Uship to boat arrival here at the lake. Shipper was very adaptable as to timing and delivery points. Good job by all.
