Transportation for a llama i had purchased had been promised by another transporter for 5 months when I finally gave up on them. They gave me an excellent bid, but had numerous personal problems crop up. They eventually stopped communicating completely....leaving me hanging with a llama I had purchased 1400 miles away.
I received only one bid, not inexpensive, but I had few other options short of driving up to pick up the animal myself.
As it turns out, the llama was highly MISrepresented by the seller and a tremendous disappointment to me on arrival. The seller then ceased communication....he obviously knows what he did. The transporter had no fault here.
uShip's transporter was timely and communicated well on the road. The llama arrived scared and untrained by the seller, but again...this was not the transporter's fault. My little llama arrived in good condition after 3 days of travel.
The transporter's trailer wasn't in the best of shape, but she got the job done. I suspect she is just working hard to make a decent living. I am grateful to her for that....as I did have to bring this long drawn out saga to it's final conclusion.
